Hello, DreamPals.

 I really hope I meet some people from Japan on here. I've always wanted to learn Japanese, and thought it would be easier if I had a native speaker to help me. I found this site via a link over on penpalworld. I joined there a few days ago.

 I have always wanted a penpal, so that's why I've joined two penpal sites. I've been home sick for a year, recovering from Schizoid Personality Disorder; it's a little like schizophrenia, except it's less severe and easily controlled. I need to meet new people, seeing as my social pool has become stagnant; all the people I know right now are from high school and whatnot. I'm really looking to communicate via AIM, MSN and emails, not really letters. I'm a little paranoid about giving out my address. Though, I guess if I felt really comfortable with someone, I'd love to send out letters.. I love writing letters and receiving mail.

I've been living on my own with my boyfriend for a year. It's been going really well, except that there's black mold in the place and my landlord won't deal with it, so we have to move soon. I'm in the process of getting a new job - that ought to be exciting, seeing as I haven't been working for a year now. What else can I say about me? Well, I'm listening to Foo Fighters right now - my favorite song, Everlong. I want to become an author one day; I think I'd write mainly fiction. I'm hoping to travel later in life. I think I'd like to see Germany, Japan, Vietnam, Russia, Australia and Mexico most of all.

 Seeing as this site is so now, I guess it will take a while for membership to build up. I'm hoping to meet lots of new people once things are up and running a lot faster.
